Miss Rosa Hankins

Miss Hankins is a quiet, dedicated teacher who is probably best known for her organizational skills. In her nineteen years at Glendale Elementary she has mastered the art of organizing a self-contained classroom. If you visit her classroom you will find students on task and engaged in a variety of activities. Her students will tell you that she gets as excited as they do about field trips. The highlight of the year is the annual field trip to Riley's Farm located in Oak Glen, CA. where students participate in Revolutionary War or Civil War reenactments.
In her free time she enjoys traveling and eating in new restaurants, collecting antique toys, and bicycling. Miss Hankins is a recipient of the Zapara Excellence in Teaching Ward and is a Mentor Teacher.
